Our Vision
To develop and deliver World-Class ‘Experiences’ that immerse visitors while showcasing the diverse history, cultures and natural bounties of our region in Nova Scotia.
About Good Cheer Adventures
Paul and Val Stackhouse have created Good Cheers Adventures to help fulfill their desire to develop and deliver World-Class ‘Experiences’ that immerse visitors while showcasing the diverse history, cultures and natural bounties of the region. It is their hope as well that their authentic activities and exclusive adventures will evoke an emotion of 'Good Cheer' for all who participate.
Combined they have over 55 years of experience in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. They are also fortunate to have traveled and been exposed to ‘experiences’ in many parts of the world. As a result, they have first-hand knowledge of traveller's expectations when participating in a local experience.
In addition, they have expanded their knowledge of the kinds of experiences today's ‘traveller types’ are looking for, especially when visiting Nova Scotia, and how best to develop and deliver those experiences.
They have attended various workshops on experience development, including Edge of the Wedge Experiential Travel Course (http://gmist.ca/course/edge/) and Tourism Nova Scotia’s World Class Experience EXCELLerator Program (https://tourismns.ca/programs/world...).
They also subscribe to various sources of research to stay current on the latest trends and best practices in experience development.
In developing and delivering experiences, they endeavour to work with 'local experts' who have the knowledge and skills required to authentically connect visitors with local culture & heritage, landscapes and culinary offerings.
If you have an idea for an experience, or you would be interested in partnering with Good Cheer Adventures, please email or direct message to explore further.
